We are on the hunt for a Head Chef or Chef De Partie or experienced Cook to join our fab team at Flo & Co Cafe. Flo's is located smack bang on the main street of our wee town, so we are humming........it is busy!!

The Details:

The position is full time.
Immediate start.
The pay rate will reflect your experience/abilities.
We offer a performance incentive program so there is potential every week to earn above and beyond your base hourly rate.
Accommodation in our staff house can be included.

What we would like to see from you:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Ability to manage food costs & wastage.
Reliable & self-motivated.
Team player but also able to work independently.
Positive & personable.
Appreciation of good quality food & presentation.
Great organisational skills & time management.

Our opening hours are hours are 8am - 2.30pm (no nights) - your hours will vary as Kaikoura is seasonal. We are flat out in the Summer then Winter is slower. Because of our opening hours you still have plenty of daylight to explore our beautiful town. We are all about balance :)
