What You’ll Do:
* Lead Your Section: Take ownership of your section, from prep to execution, ensuring every dish meets the high standards that Floriditas is known for.
* Master the Tools of the Trade: Use all kitchen equipment safely and effectively, from blenders to mixers to ovens.
* Consistency is Key: Execute precise, timely prep duties to ensure every ingredient is perfectly prepped, seasoned, and cooked to Floriditas’ standards.
* Follow Our Proven Recipes: Work with kitchen leaders to follow our recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency in every plate.
* Keep Things Organized: Manage the storage of all mise en place with care, ensuring proper labeling and dating.
* Stay Sharp: Maintain your knives and tools with attention to detail and precision to keep up with the demands of a professional kitchen.
What We Need from You:
* Experience: At least 2 years in a Chef de Partie role or similar environment, with a focus on quality and consistency.
* Work Eligibility: You must be legally approved to work in New Zealand.
* Physical Stamina: You’re comfortable standing or walking for long periods and have the energy to keep up in a busy kitchen.
* Attitude: You bring a naturally positive, optimistic approach to everything you do and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
